Machine Playback
FAQ: Machine Playback
Question:
What does Machine Playback show me?
Answer:
Machine Playback shows data from a single selected Machine that has contributed production data to the Project for up to 8 hours.
The data is represented in 3 main ways:
Green data - This is valid data that has been accepted by WorksOS and processed into the project. This data will match what you see in the main map screen for the same applicable machine and time range for the applicable Quality Metrics ie Pass Count, Elevations etc
Red data - This is data that is invalid and has not been processed into the project. The reason why this data is invalid is because the BLADE_ON_GROUND flag on the contributing machine has been set to OFF. For Blade on Ground Settings on the Machine please refer to your Machine Control setup.
Orange data - This is data that is also invalid and has not been processed into the project. The reason why this data is invalid is because the VALID_POSITION flag on the contributing machine has been set to FALSE. For Valid Position information on the Machine please refer to your Machine Control setup.
Machine Playback also starts to show you rough trends or patterns of the machines usage such as:
The loaded Design as expected or not
Automatics being used or not
For Compactors the currently set Targets for the Machine and whether they are hitting those targets
Question:
Why show data in Machine Playback that is not in the WorksOS Project (ie the red or orange data)?
Answer:
Machine Playback can be used as a diagnostic tool to determine if invalid data is being generated and possibly show indicators why it is happening for example of GPS Accuracy or GPS Mode changes suddenly. This reported time window can also be used as a guide to go back to the machine and
