Invite a User to a Project

  1. In the left pane, click the Projects icon (folder).

  2. Click 3D Enabled, Non 3D Enabled, or Archived to show the right set of projects.

Note: Clickable map tiles with thumbnails are created only for 3D-enabled projects, which are the type you need for WorksOS. If you select the Non-3D Enabled tab, you will see other projects that you are a member of; these may have originated in either WorksOS or WorksManager. To 3D enable a non-3D enabled project for use in WorksOS:

  • Click the More icon (vertical ellipsis), select Edit Project, and choose 3D Enabled as the Project Type. Then continue to add the required files.

  • Publish the project from Trimble Business Center to WorksOS using the Construction Data tab workflow.

  1. Click a project tile (…or click the More icon (vertical ellipsis) and select View Project Members).

  2. In the upper right, click the INVITE button.

  3. In the Invite Members pane, select a role in the Project Role list.

  4. Enter the user’s email address (the one used for their Trimble Identity (TID) account).

  5. Alternately, you can click the + icon next to existing users to invite them.

  6. Click NEXT.
